Terms & Conditions – Lana Interiors Ltd.

 

Commissions: Following client’s initial outline ideas and requirements, Lana Interiors will produce some initial artwork or concept design within the scope of that requirement and a quotation for the completion and delivery of the piece. A non-refundable deposit of 40% will then become payable to allow the commission to proceed. Clients will be kept informed of the progress of their commission. Minor changes to client’s specifications can be accommodated at this stage and will be discussed. Radical change may be possible subject to re-negotiation of price, but we reserve the right to decline further development of the piece at that time. On completion, the full balance will fall due prior to delivery.

Returns: Items supplied by Lana Interiors may be returned within 21 days, for whatever reason. The item must be returned in an undamaged and saleable condition, appropriately packaged, at the customer’s expense. A refund will be given, taking account of our handling charge of 10%. Commissioned work may be returnable, if it is not deemed to have been too personalised to the customer’s original requirement such that it would prevent being re-sold.

Quality: Lana Interior’s products are all hand-crafted individual pieces. In some items, where there is an element up-cycling employed the final quality will reflect this as an intended feature. Nevertheless, all products are intended to be functional and safe within a home environment if not abused.

Delivery: Free delivery is offered within mainland UK. Large, difficult and awkward items for delivery will not be entrusted to normal couriers and instead will be delivered by a more personal service. Within mainland UK, this will still be free delivery and a delivery date will be advised in these cases. Some commissioned work may be delivered by normal courier methods, but all will have any special delivery included in the quotation.
